Reception and Potluck Dinner

Besides spending time with our friends and family, some of our favorite things are eating good food, dancing all night, relaxing by a campfire, and playing or listening to music.  We hope you'll help us create and enjoy all of these things on September 4th.

Country Elegance?
You have to be asking yourself, what in the Haiti is country elegance? Well, it's up to you folks. Vinnie is going to be comfortable in outdoor, farm friendly attire, and Gina will be beautiful. If you want to wear bib overalls and Birkenstocks- have at 'er. If you want to wear waffle stompers and yer ten gallon hat- goferit. If your planning on wandering in with a caravan of wayfaring strangers adorned in your history of gypsy jewels, then jingle jingle my little Roma friend. Rubber boots and spurs, well that's always encouraged of course. Stilettos... might not be such a good idea unless your planning on aerating the fields.  We just want yall to be comfortable and have fun. So, pick a country and shine your shit kickers, cuz we will be on the farm and you never know what you might be stepping in.

Potluck
We hope you don't mind that we're going to ask for your help here. Since we had 13 themed potlucks last year, and every one of them was delightful, we thought what better way to celebrate our marriage than with a potluck! This one's going to have multiple themes:

Wisconsin or Bust - At this time the gardens and farms of Wisconsin are exploding with abundance. Please bring your favorite summer harvest dish to pass.
Viva Italia - The Miresse's and Sinisi's are finally unitin', so why not celebrate with some good old Italian and Mediteranean food.  Embrace you inner Dego and bring your best.
Fiesta Latina -  You may have had a bumper crop of chilis, tomatoes, and corn this year and have the urge to roll out some masa harina and make homemade tortillas with chili con carne, enchiladas, or tamales.  We're sure to be the best Mexican restaurant that night.  Eso, ole!  (and, no that's not Ole, from Ole and Lena, you crazy Norwegians:)

Whichever you choose, please bring your favorite dish to share. We'll have tables for vegetarian dishes and non-vegetarian dishes.

Open Mic
We've been blessed with so many artists in our life and travels, that we'd love it if you'd share your talent with us.  If you're interested in sharing a song, poem, toast, joke, or humiliating story with us and our guests, please email Vinnie and he'll add your name to the list.  We will have a full PA system set up for the open mic and band to follow.

Dancing
Bring your dancing shoes and old-world music requests, cuz we're getting down in the barn all night!

Campfire Please join us in circling around the light of the night.  Bring a comfortable camp chair if you'd like one.
